Happening This Week
Pub Theology at Hidden Haven - Mon., June 18, 6:00 p.m. This discussion is for Christians of any stripe: people who’ve been burned or burned out on church, those who believe in God, or don’t. Come and have a beer/beverage of choice and join in the lively discussion.
Quilting in Stages—Tues., June 19, 6:30 p.m. Join the group to work on mission quilts that are donated to places such as Habitat for Humanity, NACE Food Shelf, Alexandra House, and more.

Thursday Morning Quilters Needed—Meet Thurs., June 21, at 9:00 a.m. This group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Presently the group is making quilts for girls in local rehabilitation centers. Training provided!

Vacation Bible School: Shipwrecked - This coming week, Our Saviour’s will become an island with shipwrecked kids and crew. Kids will be learning how Jesus recues through incredible Bible-learning experiences they see, hear, touch, and even taste! Please keep all the kids and crew volunteers in your prayers this week. Pray that it be a week of fun and learning.
Morning Movies (M & Ms)—Kid's Summer Movie Series. Wednesdays, beginning June 13, 10:00 a.m., at Emagine Theater (formerly East Bethel) Looking for a fun event to do as a family each week? Plan a movie morning at the Emagine Theater. Tickets are just $2.00 for all ages. Parent/caregiver supervision is required! Kate Roettger will join you on these dates: June 13, August 1, 8, and 15. The June movies: June 13 - The Wild Life; June 20 - Smurfs; June 27 - The Lego Movie.
2018 Wapo Participants—Bus Ride Home from Wapo! Wapo requests that parents drop their children off at camp on Sunday between 3-5 p.m. in Crossfire Chapel. OSLC will provide transportation HOME ONLY for a cost of $20 per child. If this is something that you'd like your child to participate in, please sign up for a spot. More details available on the sign up on the Children/Youth board.
Trip to Valleyfair—Thurs., Aug. 2, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., for 6th-12th graders. Deadline to sign up and fill out an off-site registration form is July 26. Cost: $40 (or $10 for transportation only—if you have a pass)

SAM trip to MPLS District Court—Tuesday, June 26. We will travel by a rented bus to district court where Judge Mark Kappelhoff (Jim and Marilyn Kappelhoff's son) will talk with us. We will also have a tour and possibly sit in on a court session. Lunch will be across the street at Thrivent Financial. Cost: $14 for bus plus your lunch. Make checks payable to OSLC with SAM/district court on the memo line. If you want to come but need a ride to church and back home, call Susan Fanucci (763-434-6995).

OSLC Kids Camp: Green Lake Day Camp—July 9-12, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., for grades K-5 (completed), at Zion Church in Anoka. Wonder what "overnight camp" is like? Join the East Bethel Parade—July 21, 11:00 a.m. Be a part of the parade on the Our Saviour’s float. There will also be an OSLC booth at Booster Days, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are one hour time slots available to run the booth. Little Dresses for Africa—Thurs., July 26, 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., at Our Saviour’s. Join this partnership group to sew for mission. A schedule is available at the Small Group board in the Rotunda. Preschool Day Camp—August 13-16, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. For children age 3 (by May 1) through 5 (pre-kindergarten). Join Our Saviour’s Preschool as we dive into the wonderful rhymes of author Karen Beaumont! Each day will be filled with stories, art activities and games based on a different Karen Beaumont book.
