St. Francis Call to Action—Sun., Dec. 16, 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. On the evening of Nov. 20, Kaia and Annie, 8th grade students, were crossing Highway 47 in St. Francis to get to St. Francis Middle School. They were hit by a car in the crosswalk. Annie has since left the hospital and Kaia remains in critical condition. This call to action will be to write letters to state representatives asking for a walking bridge over Hwy 47, that so many students cross daily. We will also make cards for Kaia and Annie wishing them healing and giving them some encouraging words from our church and their community. Please join us in the Gathering Space. We have some supplies here at church but if you’d be willing to bring markers and/or crayons for making cards, that would be appreciated. This event is open to the entire community. Feel free to share with others who may be interested in joining us. No need to sign up… just show up. Questions: Leisha Tays, Director of Confirmation and Youth Ministries, 763-434-6117 x131 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
