Nancy joined Our Saviour’s in 2007 and the Our Saviour’s staff in October 2014. Previously, she was employed at Clare Bridge of North Oaks, an Alzheimer’s care center, working as a home care companion.

Nancy’s family: husband, Gary; children, Chris (Jessie), Peter (Jessica), Sarah (Tony); grandchildren, Hadley (3), Simon (9 months), Baby Carpenter, coming soon (September 2015).

When asked how her faith has been nurtured at OSLC, Nancy replied, “Not only do I love our church and its services, I am inspired every day by our members and especially by our dedicated staff. We are all on the same page regarding our work, staff, and the members we care so much about. That is incredibly refreshing to me.”

Nancy’s passion in life is caring for and helping others, especially families needing respite care from care giving. So many times people tell her, “I could never do that.”

Something that might surprise you about Nancy is that she has done many interesting things in her long history of employment. In the past, she has umpired 3rd/4th grade girls softball, as well as delivered balloons dressed as a Gorilla.

When asked what she would do with a free day to do anything she wanted, she replied, “I would spend the whole day looking for agates, which I love to collect.”
