Planning a Funeral at Our Saviour’s

The loss of a loved one through death is a very significant occasion, often accompanied by sadness and a time when spiritual support is very important. We will help you plan a Christian funeral or memorial service to honor the memory of your loved one and celebrate the hope of the resurrection.

When there is a death in your family:

A member of Our Saviour’s pastoral staff is on-call 24 hours a day, every day of the week. To reach a pastor, call the church office at 763-434-6117. If the office is open, you will be transferred to a pastor. In the event that the office is closed, you will be given instructions for reaching the pastor on call at Our Saviour’s cell phone number.

One of our pastoral staff will meet with you and your family to assist with details and preparations for the funeral service. The church works closely with the funeral home or cremation society to insure that a meaningful and orderly service is held. The congregation includes the family of the deceased in its prayers for the coming days, and announces the death at the following Sunday worship services.

Find details in the Funeral Brochure.

Our Saviour’s Columbarium

Our Saviour’s Columbarium provides a peaceful resting place for loved ones. All are welcome in the Columbarium, both members and nonmembers.

The Columbarium offers a private and reflective area for inurnment of cremated remains. Urns are placed in compartments (niches) within a columbarium structure. The niches will have bronze plaques. A peaceful fountain in the center is a reminder of the eternal water of life that continues to flow from this world to the next.

The garden in the Columbarium also offers the option to scatter the ashes of loved ones. The names of the deceased will be placed on the Memorial Butterfly. For more information check out the brochure below.
