Worship

Sunday Worship

Our Saviour’s offers two services with the same sermon. Sunday morning services are family friendly and designed for people of all ages. Communion is served at both services

  • Traditional worship at 8:30 a.m.
  • Contemporary worship at 10:15 a.m.
  • Boths services stream online on Facebook and are available later on Youtube
The Prayground

This is a place in worship just for the little ones. We encourage children in our worship services and want to show them that they are welcome with their own space to keep busy while engaging in worship. This space is available every worship time. We do ask that parents/guardians sit close by and continue to be responsible for their children.

Traditional Worship

During the 8:30 a.m. liturgical service the congregation prays together, recites the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles’ Creed, hears the Gospel message, and responds to the chanted liturgy. This traditional service is organ-led and includes a variety of popular hymns from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal. You will find copies of the ELW in the pews.

Contemporary Worship

The 10:15 a.m. service is casual and family friendly, featuring a variety of current and traditional songs in a contemporary style, led by the Cornerstone band.

If you can’t make it to a Sunday service, links to the services as well as audio recordings of the sermon are available at Video Services.

During Worship

This time is set aside for being with God in a meaningful, intentional way. Everyone worships God uniquely – for some that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. All you will need to participate in worship is projected on the screen in the Worship Space. There are Bibles located in the pew racks in front of you if you want to read along with the scripture lesson and Gospel for the day. If you don’t have your own Bible at home, please take one as Our Saviour’s gift to you.
