August Happenings

August Sermon Series: Meet the Neighbors! Jesus not only enjoyed being a part of the party, but being able to call the party. Jesus loved events that brought people from all walks of life together in celebration! His first miracle of turning water to wine happened at a wedding banquet. Throughout the New Testament, the Kingdom of God is described as a great party, and Jesus lived that truth out. He invited everyone and anyone to join in the celebration!

  • Aug. 5 & 22  John 2:1-11 (Wedding at Cana)
  • Aug. 12 & 15  Luke 14:12-24 (Parable of the Great Feast)
  • Aug. 19 & 8  Luke 15:11-32 (The Prodigal Son)
  • Aug. 26 & 29  John 1:43-51 (Philip & Nathanael, “Come & See”)

Dinner’s at 6:30—Fri., August 24, at Brick’s Kitchen & Pub, 10673 Baltimore St., Blaine. Bring a friend or three. Sign up on the Small Group board. Questions? Contact Mike Richgels, 763-670-8263.

The beautiful flowers you see in the Worship Space and on the name tag table during the summer months are a labor of love provided by Sherri Anderson and Traci Chastanet. Thank you for the work you put into these beautiful arrangements made from flowers in your gardens!

The pots located at the front doors are planted and tended to go with the seasons. Thank you to Lonnie LaRose for sharing her gift of a green thumb with Our Saviour's. It is such a joy to see those beautiful pots as you enter into the building.
